Saturday XC  & Enduro

Highlighted Changes to 2011 Festival Weekend: 

XC/Enduro Stand Alone events this year, but we’re keeping all the fun stuff — Make this one a fun weekend with the team or family and enjoy the farm with some relax’n and mess’n about after the super serious points chasing is in the bag (and before too!)


Here’s the Twenty11 Festival Weekend format:

Friday – Night ITT and TTTs in various shapes & sizes -

— FARM OPENS AT 2:00 PM
— Night TT start time about o’dark:00:30 (usually works out to about 9PM) —
— day of registration for TT from 6-8PM —
(no MASS points, but super fun + sweet camping) 

Saturday – XCs & Enduro Events
— start time 10 AM for first wave —

— kid’s events during the day – scavenger hunt, nature hike, arts and crafts –
— awards for all classes and kid’s race(s) follow completion of day’s racing —
— evening fun —

Sunday – TBD
— pack up and skedaddle on home — 

 

Camping – of course will once again be available right on site.  Please be sure to register for the appropriate number of nights per person.  Camping is $5/person/night.

Food – TBD

Reg Fees:  Friday Night TT is $15 through June 17, $20 after.
All Saturday races are $30 reg fees through June 17, $40 after.


We’re still bringing you lots of the fun stuff too - the Slow DH is back on a widened course (love me them bulldozers) and we’ll definitely be finding ourselves another bike to throw around as far as is humanly possible for the Murffy Toss.


Be aware of the consolidations of categories as per the MASS regulations.  There are points categories for all the classes listed, but some are combined for day of prizes at each MASS event.  It is your responsibility to understand these combinations and be able to explain them to me in detail in both verbal and essay format.


You are responsible for knowing the Oesterling Farm Rules which are detailed on Rules Page.
 

MASS Points

This year it is the same as every other MASS race except the finals at Bear Creek with are still worth double points.  No higher math skills needed!!  No points for the ITT/TTT on Friday.  The points awarded this weekend are in the XC and Enduro races.
